General Terms and Conditions for Hunting and/or Fishing Trips

~	Our Alberta Hunting Adventures are six day hunting trips that can be extended for an additional charge. Fees for Alberta Hunting Adventures include three meals per day and accommodations at the lodge or backcountry tent camp.
~	Our Alberta Fishing Adventures are booked by the day with a discount on trips longer than three days. Fees for Alberta Fishing Adventures include a riverside fish fry. Aside from Freeman River Adventures' by-the-day Alberta fishing trips, we also offer by-the-hour river excursions, half-day trips and day trips.
~	Our Alberta River Adventures are booked by the hour on the river (minimum two hours). River Adventures can be single adventure or combo adventure, such as a day trip that includes four activities or a half-day trip that includes two activities. Choose from our list of activities and we will help you custom plan your jet-boat day trip or half-day trip on the river. Lunch is provided on-shore. Ask us about the option to enjoy a riverside fish fry.
~	Our British Columbia Coastal Fishing Adventures are booked by the day with a discount on trips longer than three days. Fees for British Columbia Coastal Fishing Adventures include pick up at Port Edward Public Launch and non-alcoholic beverages.
~	Our price structure consists of a basic hunting or fishing fee plus applicable 5% Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST).
~	All hunting and fishing costs are in Canadian funds and payable to Freeman River Adventures.
~	We strongly recommend that all of our clients purchase travel, health and cancellation insurance directly after booking with us.

How To Book Your Hunting and/or Fishing Adventures

By-The-Hour, Half-Day or Full-Day Adventures:
~	For Fishing Adventures or River Adventures that are booked by the hour, half-day or full-day, the fee plus applicable taxes is payable in cash when you arrive at our location.
~	Contact us for more information or to book your next by-the-hour, half-day or full-day fishing trip in central Alberta, Canada.

Multi-Day Hunting Adventures and/or Fishing Adventures:
~	We require a preliminary deposit of 25% of the total hunting or fishing adventure's cost to book an excursion and secure your spot for the upcoming season. We will accept a personal check for this partial payment.
~	A further 25% payment is required a minimum of six months prior to the hunting and/or fishing trip. We will accept a personal check for this partial payment.
~	Final payment for the hunting or fishing trip is due on arrival and must be paid in guaranteed funds (certified check, cashier's check, traveler's checks, or cash).
~	A confirmation for your hunting and/or fishing adventure will be forwarded to you when the initial deposit is received by Freeman River Adventures.
~	All preliminary deposits are non-refundable but we may be able to transfer the hunting and/or fishing trip to a different year or to a different client if our schedule permits (see Cancellation Policy for further information).

All of the following information pertains mainly to Multi-Day Hunting and/or Fishing Adventures:

Documents Required for Booking

~	There are three documents required for booking with Freeman River Adventures: Client Information Sheet, Liability Waiver, and Agreement for Services Contract.
~	The documents required for booking your hunting and/or fishing trip will be provided to you by Freeman River Adventures.
~	Please read these forms and complete them in their entirety.
~	The Liability Waiver and Agreement for Services Contract must be filled in by each member of your hunting and/or fishing group even if a member will not be hunting or fishing.
~	Mail us your completed documents with your preliminary deposit.

Included in Cost of Hunting and/or Fishing Adventures

~	In Alberta, transportation to and from Edmonton International Airport to the outfitter's location is provided, if needed.
~	Transportation during the hunting and/or fishing adventure.
~	Lodge accommodation or backcountry tent camp accommodation, dependant on season and hunting or fishing adventure.
~	All meals for the duration of the hunting.
~	Field care of game or fish and trophies while in hunting and/or fishing area.
~	Services of qualified guide.

Not Included in Cost of Hunting and/or Fishing Adventures

~	Air transportation before and after hunting and/or fishing adventure.
~	Car rental or any other type of rental transportation.
~	Accommodation and meals on non-hunting / non-fishing days.
~	Tags and/or licenses for hunting and/or fishing (see Licenses and Permits).
~	Weapons and ammunition.
~	For rifle hunters, Firearms Declaration Fee (see Bringing Firearms into Canada).
~	For black bear only: trophy fee (second black bear). For more information, see below.

~	Wolf / coyote skinning fees, extra $150.00 Canadian per wolf or coyote.
~	Handling, packaging and/or shipping of trophies and/or meat.
~	Taxidermy.
~	Alcoholic beverages.
~	Personal items necessary for the trip (see What To Bring).
~	5% Federal Goods and Services Tax (GST).
~	Gratuities (based on your satisfaction) for guide, cook, etc.
~	Non-hunting / non-fishing guests welcome at $250.00 Canadian per day.

What Extra Costs are Not Included in the Hunting and/or Fishing Adventure Fee?
~	Clients booking an Alberta hunting adventure usually require a one-night hotel stay in Edmonton prior to their hunt, and may require another at the end of their hunt.
~	If you intend to take the meat home with you at the end of the hunting or fishing adventure, there will be extra fees to take the animal to a butcher and to have them ship the packaged meat to you. If you choose not to take the meat for yourself, it will be donated at no cost to you.
~	If you wish, we can take you to a taxidermist in our area.

Black Bear Only:
~	Alberta is a two-bear zone, however the black bear hunt price only includes one bear. The trophy fee for the second bear plus applicable taxes is payable in cash while in camp at the time you choose to hunt the second bear.

Cancellation Policy

~	The costs of the hunting and fishing adventures are fixed. There will be no refunds if the client tags out early or leaves early for any reason.
~	Early departure and late arrival transportation is the responsibility of the client.
~	If you are unable to make the hunting or fishing adventure on the dates chosen, and have given Freeman River Adventures ninety (90) days notice prior to the scheduled date of the excursion, you may reschedule the trip for another year and use the non-refundable deposit as partial payment.
~	If you are unable to make the hunting or fishing adventure on the dates chosen, and notice of termination is not given within ninety (90) days, the deposit is non-refundable, unless an alternate client is found to take your place at the full price, in which case Freeman River Adventures will refund 90% of your deposit and retain 10% as an administration fee.
~	In the rare event that we (Freeman River Adventures) have to cancel your trip, you will have the option to transfer your deposit to another excursion or receive a full refund.
~	We recommend that all of our clients purchase cancellation insurance directly after booking with us.
